Take the Viker Star Head Torch for example - you get a 3-mode headlamp, which gives you a maximum of 140 ANSI lumens for 12.5 hours with just 3x AA batteries. Low mode, which is 15 ANSI lumens will give you 120 hours of light. They are excellent runtimes and the user interface (UI) is very simple make it easy to operate with either hand and even with gloves on.
